Armando Ianucci’s HBO series Veep is due to start on Sunday April 22. Similar in style to The Thick of It the show is set in the office of a fictional US Vice President.

VISIT – Meantime Brewery
As part of their current brewery expansion, Meantime will be opening a new visitor centre at the start of next month. Alongside the daily brewery tours for visitors, the site will showcase London’s brewing history, as well as giving a wider audience an understanding of the company’s approach to beer making. VISIT – Ink & Paper
Ink & Paper is set to take place from May 11th-13th off London’s Brick Lane at The Rag Factory. It will be one of the first major exhibitions of gig posters in the UK to feature many of the UK’s exciting crop of poster designers alongside some of the best known from Europe and the US. Some of the artists getting involved include Drew Millward, Sean Mort and Telegramme Studio.

Based on the successful book by Graham Jones of the same name, Last Shop Standing is a documentary exploring the decline and the recent resurgence of the independent record store. The project is currently looking for investors through the crowd funding website IndieGoGo.

The trailer for this years reboot of Spider-Man was released today and is set for release on July 3.
SEE – UnReal Estate
Spoke Art Gallery in San Francisco is currently hosting the debut solo show by Austin-based artist Tim Doyle. Unreal Estate explores locations found throughout popular culture including Moe’s Tavern to the Bluth Banana Stand, as well as Tom’s Restaurant made famous in Seinfeld all recreated in a slightly more eerie light. The show runs until February 23.
